Integrating public data to solve public problems

Camden ARISE

Camden ARISE (Administrative Records Integration for Service Excellence) combines information from public data systems to create a multi-dimensional picture of citywide challenges. By linking information from multiple data systems, including criminal justice, healthcare, and housing, Camden ARISE can help drive better decisions about allocation of resources and address the root causes of recurring public problems.

The project’s first phase integrates data from the Camden County Police Department with information from regional hospitals to shed light on overlapping issues in healthcare and public safety. Analysis of the combined data will indicate strategic points of intervention that may reduce hospital readmissions, arrests, recidivism, and more.

Camden RESET

Camden RESET (Reentering Society with Effective Tools), a pilot program that aims to discover individual and systemic barriers faced by patients who frequently experience hospital and jail utilization, builds upon insights from Camden ARISE.

Camden ARISE is funded by the Laura and John Arnold Foundation and co-sponsored by CamConnect.
